Refilling is simply reusing your cleaned glass and plastic containers by filling them with eco-friendly bath, body, and cleaning products at a refill/filling station. By reusing our bottles, jars, and other containers instead of throwing them in the garbage or recycling bin, we reduce waste and single-use plastics in the environment.
Here are some common questions about visiting the station.

Q: Do you have a storefront?
A: Not at this time. You can find us at local farmers’ markets, pop-ups, and other events in the Valley. Check out our Instagram page (@no_waste_trace) for more information.
Q: Do you make your products?
A: No, we don't. Products are purchased from sustainably sourced businesses in Arizona and other parts of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other countries.
Q: Are your products natural?
A: The product ingredients used are carefully sourced and are 100% natural and plant-based. These products never include parabens, artificial colors, or synthetic fragrances.
Q: Are your products ethical for people and the planet?
A: Our priority is to source sustainable products from suppliers that consider environmental impacts and treatment of workers.
Q: Can I refill my container?
A: Yes. Please make sure the containers you use are clean and dry.
Q: What if I don't have a container for refilling?
A: We have freecycle cleaned jars and containers that you can have.
Q: How are your items priced?
A: Refills are priced by the ounce. The weight of your container is deducted from the total weight of the refill. All containers are weighed precisely to ensure you only pay for the product, not the container.
Q: What is your exchange/return policy?
A: We do not accept any exchanges or returns. All sales are final.
Q: What is a closed-loop system or circular economy?
A: This is a sustainable model of production and consumption where no waste is generated. Instead of “waste” ending up in the landfill, materials and products are created with reuse, return, or repair in mind.
Q: What happens to the bulk containers you receive from suppliers?
A: All containers are sent back to the supplier to be refilled and returned repeatedly. In rare instances, we may have to recycle a container.
